Russia Launches Massive Attack on Ukraine: 27 Missiles and Over 200 Drones Fired

On July 26, 2025, Russian military forces launched an extensive assault on Ukraine, firing 27 missiles along with 208 kamikaze drones and drone imitators, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Air Force. The attack involved 12 ballistic “Iskander-M/KN-23” missiles, seven aviation Kh-59/69 missiles, and eight “Iskander-K” missiles, reports 24brussels.

The primary focus of the Russian strike was the Dnipropetrovsk region, where Ukrainian air defenses reportedly intercepted and destroyed 200 aerial targets, including 183 drones and 17 missiles.

Ukrainian sources indicated that 25 drones and ten missiles struck in nine locations, while debris from downed UAVs fell at eight other sites.

The combined attack on Dnipropetrovsk province resulted in two fatalities and five injuries among civilians. Additionally, a residential building sustained damage, and a significant fire broke out at the “Epicenter” facility.
