Russian Drone Attack in Dnipropetrovsk Region Leaves One Dead
On October 11, 2025, Russian forces launched an attack using FPV drones against Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in the death of a 23-year-old woman, reports 24brussels.
A separate drone strike injured a 62-year-old man, who will receive outpatient treatment. The assault also caused damage to a residential building, a store, and other civilian infrastructure in the area.
Just days earlier, the Russian army had intensified its drone attack strategy, striking the communities of Zelenodolsk and Novopill in the Kryvyi Rih district, leading to two individuals being injured. In the Nikopol district, two men aged 26 and 45, along with an 18-year-old woman, sustained injuries. Damage was reported to a local enterprise, a gas pipeline, residential houses, multi-storey buildings, vehicles, and outbuildings.
The continued aggression by Russian forces in Ukraine underscores the escalating conflict and the urgent need for international attention and support for the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Ukrainian officials have repeatedly called for more robust defensive assistance from Western allies to mitigate the impact of these attacks on civilian populations.
