Russian Forces Strike Odessa with Drones

In the early hours of July 22, Russian military forces launched a drone attack on Odessa, resulting in significant damage to civilian infrastructure. An administrative building caught fire, multiple vehicles were destroyed, and windows in residential buildings were shattered, reports 24brussels.

Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odessa regional military administration, stated that air defense forces were actively working during the attack; however, some drones still reached their targets.

Details regarding potential casualties are currently being clarified. Emergency and utility services are on site addressing the aftermath of the strike.

Prior to this incident, Russian forces attacked a residential area in Sumy, damaging five apartment buildings and a shopping center, and affecting at least 18 vehicles. Two residents in one of the most severely affected buildings required hospitalization, with more than ten locals seeking medical assistance.
