Russia Launches Drone Strikes on Ukraine, Causing Casualties
On July 7, 2025, Russian occupying forces launched an attack on Ukrainian cities and villages using 101 kamikaze drones and drone imitators, along with four S-300/400 missiles from temporarily occupied areas, including Chauda, Kursk region, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Millerovo, reports 24brussels.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Air Defense successfully intercepted 75 drones, with 17 neutralized through electronic warfare and 58 destroyed using firepower.
Air Force officials reported drone impacts at ten locations and debris from downed UAVs in seven others.
The drone attack in Odesa resulted in one fatality, damage to an administrative building, ten garages, and the destruction of several buses. In Kyiv, significant damage occurred to large-diameter heating networks, leaving approximately 500 buildings without hot water.
