Russian Occupation Forces Attack Dnipropetrovsk Region

On July 2, 2025, Russian occupation forces targeted the Sinelnykiv and Nikopol districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region using FPV drones, artillery, and guided aerial bombs. As a result of the strikes, seven individuals were injured, including a 17-year-old girl, according to Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, in a Telegram report.

Five of the injured were transported to medical facilities. The attack caused a fire on a wheat field, damaging three outbuildings, one of which was completely destroyed, along with two private residences, a business, a garage, and several vehicles.

Furthermore, an airstrike on the Mezhiv community resulted in damage to nearly 30 houses, two cars, and other non-residential structures.

Earlier, Russian forces launched a ballistic attack on the village of Hulyaipole, also in the Dnipropetrovsk region, leaving over 30 people injured. The President of Ukraine noted that among the casualties was Serhii Zakharievich, the commander of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade, along with other soldiers from the brigade.
