Russian Missile Strikes in Dnipropetrovsk Region
On July 1, 2025, Russian forces launched a missile strike on the Kamianske district in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as reported by the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak. The attack caused a fire, with further details being clarified, according to Lysak.
An air raid alert is currently in effect across the region, with local authorities urging residents to seek safe locations.
Shortly before Lysak’s announcement, the Ukrainian Air Force alerted about an incoming fast-moving target heading toward the Dnipropetrovsk area.
On the eve of the attack, various Telegram channels referenced an interactive map from DeepState, indicating that Russian forces had breached the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk region. However, this claim was refuted by Andriy Kovalенко, head of the Central Defense Post of the National Security and Defense Council, and Oleh Trehubov, spokesperson for the joint forces operation “Khortytsia.”
Kovalенко stated that heavy fighting is ongoing near the administrative border but asserted that there has been no breakthrough. Meanwhile, Trehubov reported increased enemy activity in the areas around Yalta, Komar, and Shevchenkove, while Ukrainian troops are maintaining their defensive positions.
