Russia strikes Kyiv region with drones, one injured

On July 9, 2025, a local resident born in 1980 sustained injuries as a result of a Russian drone attack in the Brovary district of the Kyiv region. She was hospitalized with a preliminary diagnosis of a closed chest fracture, reports 24brussels.

According to Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv regional military administration, the injured individual received the necessary medical assistance.

“Russia continues its massive drone strikes against civilian settlements in Kyiv region. I urge everyone to stay in shelters during air alerts,” Kalashnyk emphasized.

Recently, due to a Russian aerial attack, residential buildings suffered damage in the Bucha and Fastiv districts of the Kyiv region.

In the capital, infrastructure damage has been reported, particularly affecting a large diameter heating network. Approximately 500 buildings, including residential homes, medical facilities, and schools, were left without hot water supply.
