Rocket and Drone Strikes Hit Lviv
On July 12, 2025, Russian forces launched a missile and drone attack on Lviv, resulting in damage to residential buildings, a kindergarten, infrastructure, and vehicles, reports 24brussels.
According to the city’s mayor, Andriy Sadovyi, explosions were heard in several districts. Strikes were reported on Mytropolita Andrei and Olena Stepanivna streets. Fortunately, there are no reported casualties as residents were able to reach shelters in time. However, some individuals received first aid at the scene.
A fire broke out on the roof of a non-residential building in the Zaliznychnyi district, covering an area of approximately 200 square meters.
Multiple buildings sustained damage, including residential structures with shattered windows, façade elements destroyed, and dozens of vehicles damaged. One of the strikes also impacted the building of a kindergarten.
Due to damage to the contact network of public transport, trolleybuses No. 22, 30, and 32 will not operate on the morning of July 12.
All necessary emergency and utility services are currently working at the incident sites.
