Russia strikes Vinnytsia, causing casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure

Drone Strikes Hit Vinnytsia and Kryvyi Rih

On July 16, 2025, Russian forces launched drone strikes against the Vinnytsia region, resulting in hits within the regional center. The attack, confirmed by the First Deputy Head of Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Natalia Zabolotna, unfortunately led to injuries, reports 24brussels.

Zabolotna stated, “As a result of the enemy attack in the city of Vinnytsia, there are impacts on civil infrastructure.” Emergency services are currently responding at the site of the strikes.

Four individuals have been reported injured from the incident. Emergency responders are actively engaged in addressing the consequences of the attack.

In addition to Vinnytsia, Russian forces also targeted Kryvyi Rih overnight with drones and ballistic missiles. A 17-year-old boy was among the casualties, and he is currently in critical condition. The attack resulted in significant damage to an industrial facility in the city.

Late on July 15, Russian forces conducted a drone attack on Kharkiv, which lasted 14 minutes. During this time, 16 strikes were reported in the Kyivskyi district of the city, with several drones intercepted by air defense forces. Three individuals sustained injuries, and fires broke out at the impact sites.
