Russian Drone Strikes Hit Zaporizhzhia Military Center, Injuring Soldiers and Civilians
On July 7, 2025, a series of four drone strikes using Shahed-type kamikaze drones targeted the Zaporizhzhia Regional Recruitment and Social Support Center, resulting in injuries to multiple soldiers, according to the press service of the Zaporizhzhia military recruitment center, reports 24brussels.
The military recruitment center noted that the injured soldiers had recently undergone military-medical commissions, being reassigned from combat units to the recruitment center, and were actively involved in military operations. Two of the wounded servicemen were transported to a medical facility, where they are currently in moderate condition.
Additionally, 14 civilians were reported injured as a result of the occupants’ strikes. The attacks resulted in damage to a university, residential dormitories, and both multi-story and private homes within the city.
Earlier today, the Kharkiv Regional Recruitment Center also came under drone attacks. A few days prior, Russian forces targeted recruitment center buildings in Kremenchuk, Poltava, and Kryvyi Rih. Reports indicate three fatalities and numerous injuries among civilians. The Ground Forces have indicated that Russia may continue these strikes on recruitment centers to disrupt mobilization efforts.
