Russian Airstrikes Hit Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, One Dead

On Thursday, August 28, 2025, Russian forces dropped guided aerial bombs on the Mala Mykhailivka community in the Synelnykove district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The airstrike resulted in the death of a 49-year-old man, as reported by Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, in his Telegram channel.

Lysak extended condolences to the family of the deceased and confirmed that four other individuals sustained injuries from the attack. Private residential buildings in the area were also damaged.

Recently, analysts from DeepState noted that Russian troops had captured two villages in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast — Zaporizke and Novoheorhiyivka. However, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine later clarified that these locations are not under Russian control, stating that fighting is ongoing in those areas.

Ukrainian forces successfully “cleared” the village of Zelenyi Hai, located near the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, from occupying forces, reports 24brussels.
