Russian Warships Deploy Again in the Black Sea

On July 6, 2025, following an extended hiatus, Russian warships have re-entered the Black Sea with cruise missile carriers onboard. As of 6 AM, two enemy vessels armed with “Kalibr” missiles have been detected, with the potential to launch up to eight missiles, reports 24brussels.

Monitoring Telegram channels had reported the presence of these Russian missile carriers in the Black Sea overnight. One source indicated a missile capacity of up to twelve “Kalibr” missiles on the two vessels. However, during recent combined airstrikes on Ukraine, Russian forces have not utilized these types of missiles.

In the Sea of Azov, Russian ships remain absent. Additionally, two hostile vessels have been identified in the Mediterranean Sea, with one capable of launching up to four “Kalibr” missiles.

Earlier reports indicated that on the night of July 6, fires broke out in Ukraine’s Kyiv region following an attack by Russian strike drones, resulting in injuries to three individuals.
