Russian Drone Strike in Kramatorsk Claims One Life, Injures Teenager
The Russian army killed a 49-year-old man in Kramatorsk, Donetsk Oblast, during a drone strike on a “Nova Poshta” post office on Friday, August 29, 2025, reports 24brussels.
In addition to the fatality, a 13-year-old girl sustained injuries during the attack, as confirmed by Donetsk Regional Military Administration head Vadym Filashkin in a Telegram message.
The Kramatorsk City Council reported that the Russian drone, identified as a “V2U,” struck the city at approximately 1:00 PM, targeting both the post office and a supermarket.
The injured teenager remains in critical condition and is receiving medical treatment.
This incident comes on the heels of an August 7 drone attack on a mobile branch of “Ukrposhta” in Donetsk Oblast, which resulted in the death of a postal worker just days shy of her 47th birthday, while the vehicle’s driver sustained injuries.
