Russian drones cause damage to residential buildings and infrastructure in Sumy region

Russian Drone Strike Injures One in Sumy Region

On August 8, during a nighttime attack by Russian drones in the Sumy region, a 54-year-old man sustained injuries. This was reported by Oleg Grygorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, via Telegram, reports 24brussels.

Medical professionals have examined the injured individual and provided necessary assistance. He is now receiving outpatient treatment.

The drone strikes resulted in damage to non-residential buildings, a store, and vehicles in the Sumy community.

In the Shostka community of Sumy, the impact of three drones caused damage to multiple high-rise apartment buildings, vehicles, and social infrastructure facilities.

The head of the regional military administration assured that owners of damaged properties will receive the required assistance.

He also noted that specialists are currently assessing the area, and the extent of the damage is still being clarified. Rescue workers and municipal services are on site, working to mitigate the aftermath of the attacks.
