Russian Forces Advance in Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk Regions
On August 31, 2025, Russian troops made significant gains near the villages of Maliivka in Dnipropetrovsk region, bordering Donetsk region, and Zarichne, as noted by analysts from the information resource DeepState, reports 24brussels.
The Dnipro Operational Tactical Group reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully repelled Russian assaults in the Serebryansk forestry and around the villages of Shandryholove, Torske, Olhivka, Stavky, and Novomykhailivka in the Lyman direction.
Meanwhile, the Russian army continues to launch attacks near Voskresenka, Komyshuvakha, Hrushevskyi, Oleksandrovgrad, Sichenve, and Maliivka in the Novopavlivsk direction, where heavy fighting persists.
Ukrainian forces have succeeded in displacing Russian troops from the village of Novoselivka in Dnipropetrovsk region. DeepState also reported the elimination of a significant portion of the occupying forces in this locality. Recently, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied claims that Russian military units controlled the villages of Novohrihivka and Zaporizke in Dnipropetrovsk region.
