Drone Strikes Hit Kryvyi Rih as Casualties Reported
On Monday, June 30, explosions were heard in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, following an attack by Russian forces using Shahed drones. The local military administration chief, Serhiy Lysak, confirmed the incidents and reported a fire ignited by the strikes, reports 24brussels.
Lysak detailed that three residents sustained injuries due to the drone assault. A 54-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman received medical assistance on-site and are in stable condition, while a 52-year-old man was hospitalized in serious condition. The extent of the destruction is currently being assessed.
This latest incident follows a missile strike on April 4, when Russian forces targeted Kryvyi Rih, resulting in the deaths of 20 individuals, including nine children. The United Nations classified this assault as the deadliest attack on children since the onset of the full-scale invasion in February 2022.
