Russian Cruise Missiles Enter Ukrainian Airspace
On August 30, 2025, at approximately 4:50 AM, monitoring sources reported that the first X-101 cruise missiles launched from Russian strategic aviation were entering Ukrainian airspace via Sumy region, reports 24brussels.
At 4:51 AM, the Ukrainian Air Force announced a high-speed target in Sumy, shortly followed by alerts about cruise missiles heading towards Poltava, Chernihiv, and Cherkasy regions.
By 5:42 AM, the Air Forces reported another cruise missile detected in Vinnytsia, which had changed its course towards Zhytomyr region just three minutes later.
Sources indicate that all missiles are traveling westward.
Earlier, at 3:50 AM, reports indicated a group of cruise missiles heading towards Vasylkiv in Kyiv region, with subsequent updates confirming missile activity targeting Kyiv.
At 5:58 AM, the Air Forces issued another warning about a cruise missile directed towards Cherkasy, shortly followed by reports of an explosion in the city from “Suspilne.”
