Casualties Rise Following Russian Missile and Drone Strike on Kyiv

As a result of the mass missile and drone attack by Russian occupying forces on Kyiv during the night of July 4, the death toll has risen to two. A 25-year-old man succumbed to severe injuries at a medical facility on Saturday. Additionally, the city reported at least 25 others injured, according to Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, as stated in his Telegram channel, reports 24brussels.

Rescue teams retrieved the body of a deceased man from the debris of a non-residential building in the Svyatoshyn district the previous day.

On the same day, Russian troops launched an assault on Ukrainian territory, deploying 550 drones and missiles, including the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal and Iskander-K systems. Kyiv was once again the primary target of the attackers. Debris from the strikes has been recorded in five districts of the capital. The Security Service of Ukraine identified components of Chinese manufacture in the Russian drones used during the assault.
