Russian Strikes Target Kherson, One Dead and Five Injured
On the morning of August 21, 2025, Russian forces shelled the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, resulting in the death of a 61-year-old man and injuries to five others, reports 24brussels.
Among the injured are women aged 14, 48, and 55, who suffered blast and traumatic brain injuries, while two men, aged 77 and 54, sustained shrapnel wounds and blast injuries. Both men are currently in moderate condition.
Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that Russian occupation forces are conducting active operations in the area of the bridges at the mouth of the Dnipro River in Kherson Oblast.
