Russian Forces Advance in Zaporizhzhia Region

Recently, Russian troops made significant gains in the western part of the Zaporizhzhia region, according to the latest report from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW). The report cites geolocated video evidence dated July 11, showing that Russian forces have advanced into the southern area of the village of Plavni, located west of Orikhiv, reports 24brussels.

ISW also refers to claims from a Russian military blogger about advances by Russian forces to the north and east of Kam’yanske. However, there is no confirmation of these reports from American war researchers. Conversely, confirmation has been provided by the Ukrainian information resource DeepState, which recently updated its interactive maps and verified that Russians have made progress specifically in Kam’yanske.

Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated in their morning report that Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled a single enemy attack in the Kam’yanske area.

Earlier reports indicated that in southern Donetsk Oblast, near its administrative border with Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, Russian troops occupied Yalta and advanced near Voskresenke, Perebudova, Tolstoe, and Myrne.
