Russian Forces Advance Near Administrative Border in Donetsk Region

In southern Donetsk Oblast, Russian troops continue their advance towards the administrative border with Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on multiple fronts. This information is detailed in a report from the Ukrainian information resource DeepState, which recently updated its interactive maps, reports 24brussels.

DeepState researchers indicate that Russian forces have occupied the village of Shevchenko in the Vuhledar community of the Volnovakha district.

Additionally, the report notes that Russian troops have made progress near Zeleny Pole, south of Shevchenko, and near Myrne, north of Shevchenko.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in its evening summary that over the new Pavlivka direction, the enemy attempted to breach the defenses of Ukrainian defenders 12 times in the areas of the settlements of Piddubne, Zirka, Temyrivka, Myrne, Voskresenka, Vylne Pole, and Shevchenko.

It was previously reported that in southern Donetsk Oblast, Russian forces had also occupied the village of Bahatyr and advanced in Oleksiyivka, Tolstyi, and near Novokhatske.
