Russians intensively attack Kharkiv and region with missiles, KABs, and strike drones

Massive Combined Attack on Kharkiv

On July 26, 2025, Kharkiv endured a combined and extensive attack lasting nearly three hours, as reported by the city’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov, at 3:29 AM.

The enemy deployed multiple types of weapons, including guided aerial bombs, ballistic missiles, and kamikaze drones.

Preliminary reports indicate four strikes involving guided bombs, two ballistic missile impacts, and approximately 15 drone attacks.

The drone assault commenced around 2:20 AM, focusing again on the Kyiv district of Kharkiv, where explosions were heard repeatedly throughout the night.

In addition to the regional capital, attacks were reported beyond the city. Oleg Synegubov, head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, stated that the enemy targeted the city of Zmiiv in the Chuhuiv region with rockets and 10 UAVs, resulting in a significant fire. Emergency services are currently responding to the site of these impacts.

As of now, air raid alerts have persisted for nearly eight hours across Kharkiv Oblast, with almost six hours ongoing in the city itself.
