Russians launch Shahed attacks on frontline regions, numerous hits reported

Ukraine Under Renewed Drone Attack by Russia

Overnight on June 30, starting from 22:00 on June 29, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using 107 Shahed drones and various imitation unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Ukrainian Air Forces reported this via Telegram, indicating that the drones were deployed from multiple locations including Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, and Hvardiske in Crimea.

The primary targets of the assault were Donetsk and Kharkiv regions.

Ukrainian air defense forces responded with aviation support, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups to repel the aerial assault.

As of 09:00, the air defense reported the destruction of 74 hostile UAVs, including 64 shot down by attack means and 10 neutralized using electronic warfare in the northern, eastern, and southern parts of the country, reports 24brussels.

Russian air attack units successfully struck 15 locations, with debris from downed drones landing in two areas.

Previously, it was noted that on June 30, a drone attack resulted in fires breaking out in Kharkiv region, injuring eight individuals.
