Russian Drone Strike Casualties in Chuhuiv
On July 4, a Russian kamikaze drone of the “Shahed” type struck the city of Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region. The incident was reported by Oleg Synegubov, head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, via Telegram. Three individuals were reported injured, including a 12-year-old boy, as a result of the attack, reports 24brussels.
Additionally, the city of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region also faced enemy shelling, resulting in two injuries, with medical assistance currently being provided to the victims.
Threats to the region continue as enemy drones are reported to be flying overhead. An air raid alert issued at 20:16 on July 4 has been in effect for over four hours. In the early hours of July 5, the Ukrainian Air Forces reported a group of enemy UAVs heading east over Kharkiv.
Synegubov has urged local residents to remain in safe locations until the air raid alert is lifted. Earlier reports indicated that Russia set a new record for drone usage during air attacks overnight on July 4, deploying more than 330 “Shahed” drones in total.
