Drone Attack in Odesa: Explosions and Fires Reported
In the early hours of August 4, 2025, Russian forces launched drone strikes on the Odesa region and the city of Odesa itself. This drone attack resulted in large fires at a non-operational dormitory and the surrounding radio market. Dozens of trade pavilions containing appliances and electronics were destroyed, reports 24brussels.
Oleg Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, indicated that a fire broke out in an administrative building in the suburbs, partially destroying a four-story building and damaging six vehicles and a garage. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.
On July 24, Russian “Shahed” drones conducted a significant attack on Odesa, which resulted in the destruction of an apartment building and damage to trade pavilions in the “Pryvoz” market. Three individuals sustained injuries in that incident.
