Ukrainian Drones Strike Russian Arsenal in Bryansk

On June 28, 2025, a series of explosions rocked the Russian city of Bryansk, as Ukrainian drones targeted the 120th arsenal of the Main Rocket and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense. The airstrikes were carried out by the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine coinciding with Ukraine’s Constitution Day, reports 24brussels.

Details regarding the extent of the damage are still being confirmed. Local authorities in Bryansk Oblast have not yet commented on the explosions.

This marks the second attack on this arsenal. Last November, Ukrainian drones struck ammunition depots at the 1060th Material Support Center in the same region.

Additionally, on June 5, Ukrainian forces, in coordination with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), executed a strike on the concentration area of the 26th Missile Brigade of Russia in Bryansk Oblast, destroying three Iskander-M launch systems. The operation reportedly resulted in the deaths of eight Russian soldiers, with five others injured.
