Russian Assault Groups Penetrate Ukrainian Territory

On August 13, 2025, small Russian infantry assault groups infiltrated the Ukrainian territory within the operational area of the 19th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Soldiers from the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade “Kholodnyi Yar” captured four Russian soldiers aged between 20 and 28, while another four were eliminated, reports 24brussels.

The captured soldiers indicated that they are members of the 132nd Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces. Ukrainian defenders are currently conducting operations to detect and eliminate remnants of Russian infantry groups.

A spokesperson for the General Staff stated that the invaders have penetrated into Zolotyi Kolodiaz, Kucheryviar, Vylne, Rubizhne, and Vesele, areas located near Dobropillya. A representative from the Joint Forces Operational Command “Dnipro” noted that Russian forces do not control these localities and are being eliminated there. The commander of the airborne assault battalion of the 25th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade emphasized that Russia aims to encircle Dobropillya and establish so-called “cauldrons.”

As the situation develops, Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad are reported to be on the brink of encirclement, while Kostiantynivka is partially surrounded.
