Ongoing Tensions in Dnipropetrovsk Region Amid Russian Aggression
On July 5, 2025, no combat operations are reported in the Dnipropetrovsk region between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Russian occupying troops. However, skirmishes continue in close proximity to the area, according to Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the operational-strategic group “Khortytsia,” during a telethon, reports 24brussels.
Trehubov stated that the aggressor nation is seeking to exaggerate the situation in Ukrainian information space.
He also indicated that on the Pokrovsk axis, Russian forces are attempting to secure their position along the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka highway, while on the Novopavlivka front, they are pressuring Ukrainian positions to break through into Dnipropetrovsk region.
According to DeepState, the invaders have occupied Novoukrainka and Zeleni Kut in the Pokrovsk direction, and are rapidly advancing in the areas of Yalta, Zirka, and surrounding villages. Analysts emphasized that the situation near Dachne in Dnipropetrovsk region remains tense; however, defense forces are preventing the occupiers from establishing a foothold there.
