Ukrzaliznytsia Launches Additional Train Services Amid High Demand
Ukrzaliznytsia has announced the introduction of additional train services connecting Kyiv with Odesa, as well as several routes to Lviv and Vinnytsia. The railway company emphasized that the route between the capital and Lviv continues to see peak demand from passengers, reports 24brussels.
Trains No. 249/250 and No. 243/244 will operate between Kyiv and Lviv, with the first train departing on August 18 and 19, and the second on August 16, 17, and 20.
Additionally, train No. 775/776, connecting Kyiv and Vinnytsia, is scheduled to depart on August 31 from both cities.
Passengers can already purchase tickets for these services at train station ticket offices, via the application, and on the Ukrzaliznytsia website.
The company indicated that these trains will feature compartment cars and seating areas. Earlier, it was reported that demand for train tickets between Kyiv and Lviv during the summer significantly exceeds supply, reaching almost eight times the availability.
