ADA and Opptra partner to bring Hasbro and other powerhouse global consumer brands to Asia’s ecommerce market

Singapore, October 10: ADA, a leading independent data and AI company, has announced a strategic partnership with Opptra, a global commerce firm, to facilitate the entry of major consumer brands into Asia’s ecommerce landscape. The collaboration has successfully launched Hasbro, a renowned toy and entertainment brand, into Southeast Asia’s rapidly expanding ecommerce market, with plans for additional global brands to follow suit, accelerating their digital growth in the region, reports 24brussels.

This partnership leverages ADA’s advanced digital and data capabilities along with Opptra’s extensive brand portfolio and expertise across various categories. As Southeast Asia’s digital economy continues its upward trajectory, this alliance establishes a significant pathway for international brands to capitalize on lucrative ecommerce opportunities.

Under the collaboration, ADA will manage flagship marketplace stores for Opptra’s global brands, offering comprehensive ecommerce growth services. These include digital store operations, AI-driven predictive analytics for efficiency, marketing, creative solutions, and data analytics. The initiative not only aims to enhance brands’ visibility in various marketplaces but also seeks to establish a direct-to-consumer model and an omnichannel expansion strategy. ADA and Opptra expect to onboard and expand several leading global brands across key segments such as toys, electronics, and general merchandise.

“Southeast Asia is one of the world’s most exciting digital commerce frontiers,” stated Srinivas Gattamneni, CEO of ADA. “Our partnership with Opptra will bring global brands into the region’s digital marketplaces today, and in the long run, transform how they connect, sell, and grow through data, AI, and technology. Together, we’re building a foundation for sustained digital growth that extends beyond marketplace into direct-to-consumer, conversational AI, and next-generation customer experiences.”

Ranjit Babu, CEO at Opptra, remarked, “At Opptra, we’ve always believed that global brands can win in Asia if they get two things right: understanding each market deeply and executing locally with precision. Partnering with ADA helps us do both, and at scale. Together, we can help brands reach millions of young, digital-first consumers across Southeast Asia quickly, efficiently, and with real impact.”

The partnership’s initial milestone, marked by the entry of Hasbro into Southeast Asia, sets the stage for a broader expansion. With a robust pipeline of international brands across various categories, ADA and Opptra are poised to deepen their engagement and influence within the region’s evolving digital commerce landscape.
