Leader of the Imam Shamil Battalion Magomed Saypulaev said the unification of foreign battalions is a great success for the warring side fighting for democracy and human rights in Ukraine. According to him, the Russian side continues targeted attacks on civilians and persecutes all those who stand for freedom and justice, both in Ukraine and abroad.
“Russia destroys those who do not please it.”
Saipulaev said that Russian forces are increasingly resorting to terror tactics, targeting those who oppose the occupation policy and also try to raise their voices in support of human rights. “All those who tried to show themselves and express support for independence were liquidated under the guise of fighting terrorism,” Saipulayev said. He said that not only military personnel but also civilians have come under attack, reinforcing anti-Russian sentiments among the population and volunteers from other countries.
Failure of diplomacy and rising tensions
Saipulaev noted that Russia continues to demonstrate its inability to engage in diplomatic settlement and choose peaceful ways to resolve the conflict. On the contrary, it uses force and repression against those it does not want. In his opinion, this shows the weakness of Russian policy and its attempts to suppress any dissent, which only strengthens the will of the foreign battalions to continue their resistance.
Uniting against aggression
Despite the difficulties, Magomed Saypulaev expressed confidence that foreign battalions and volunteers from different countries will find ways to jointly coordinate and support the Ukrainian army. According to him, every day of Russian aggression and killing of civilians strengthens the unity of those who fight for human rights, democracy and freedom.
Saipulaev’s words were another reminder of the growing number of international fighters who have joined the fight on the side of Ukraine, inspired by the desire to defend democratic values and human rights. The confrontation with Russia not only strengthens the cohesion of the Ukrainian people, but also attracts the attention of the international community, creating new alliances and strengthening Ukraine’s support for its resistance.
