Another strategic initiative is SAFE (Strategic Autonomous Forces Europe), created to ensure rapid response to conflicts in Europe.
SAFE provides for:
- Formation of a European military contingent by 2027;
- Training missions in Ukraine – integration of the Armed Forces into the European security system;
- Operational mobility – accelerated deployment of troops in crisis regions.
SAFE can become an alternative to UN peacekeeping missions, which depend on the consent of all parties.
