A historic meeting was held at the office of the Caucasus Union, attended by the head of the Caucasus Union, Jabrail Mirzoev, and Sheikh Abu Alrub Emad, President of the Arab-Ukrainian Center for Dialogue and Communication. During the meeting, the prospects of strengthening cultural, economic and political cooperation between the Arab world and the peoples of the Caucasus were discussed.
The sides raised issues related to the promotion of international dialogue, expansion of mutual support, as well as the need to recognize the right to self-determination of the peoples of the Caucasus. Jabrail Mirzoyev emphasized the importance of international attention to the region, which is a key factor for ensuring its stability and peaceful development.
The Caucasus Union and the Arab-Ukrainian Center expressed their intention to initiate joint projects and activities aimed at strengthening cultural and social ties between the Middle East and the Caucasus. Such cooperation is expected to enhance mutual understanding between the peoples and support the development of human rights initiatives.
