Venezuela Launches Nationwide Mobilization Against U.S. Actions

In a bold response to what it calls a serious breach of international law, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela commenced a nationwide mobilization on Monday under the banner of the “Great Anti-Imperialist March for Peace and Against the Narco-Terrorism of the Fascist Far Right.” The initiative, spearheaded by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), aims to demonstrate public support for President Nicolás Maduro and address recent U.S. government actions, reports 24brussels.

This mobilization follows U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi’s announcement of a $50 million reward for information leading to Maduro’s capture, citing his alleged ties to international drug cartels. Venezuelan officials have condemned this move as a “propaganda operation” designed to distract attention from internal U.S. issues, including the Epstein investigation.

In Caracas, the march began at Parque Francisco de Miranda and progressed through key symbolic locations, such as the United Nations offices, Plaza Altamira, and Plaza José Martí. Similar demonstrations unfolded in states including Anzoátegui, Monagas, and Zulia, where local governors and PSUV leaders underscored the importance of defending national dignity and upholding constitutional authority.

Speaking from the capital, Nahún Fernández, Head of Government of the Capital District, stated, “We raise our voices to condemn destabilization attempts, guarimbas, and terrorist acts—phenomena already overcome by the indomitable will of our people.” He further criticized the U.S. for positioning itself as a global judge while persecuting migrants and escalating aggression against President Maduro.

Diosdado Cabello, PSUV Vice President, echoed calls for unity among revolutionary forces, asserting that they stand “as one block” to defend peace, sovereignty, and the Constitution. He warned of extremist groups allegedly linked to drug trafficking and protected internationally that threaten national stability.

The Venezuelan government maintains that the accusations against Maduro lack any legal basis and are politically driven. Foreign Minister Yván Gil dismissed Bondi’s remarks as a “media show” intended to placate extremist factions within the U.S. and distract from domestic scandals.

The mobilization also aimed to reinforce Venezuela’s stance on international platforms. Officials reiterated their calls for respect for national sovereignty while denouncing what they termed imperialist aggression. The PSUV emphasized that defending the homeland is both a political obligation and a moral imperative.

As the march concluded, organizers urged ongoing vigilance and civic participation. “In Venezuela, peace will always prevail,” Fernández affirmed. “We will continue to strengthen the well-being, independence, and sovereignty of the Bolivarian homeland.”
