According to a study by property classifieds website Immoweb, the most expensive streets in Belgium are all in the capital region of Brussels. The most expensive street in Flanders is in Ghent.

Immoweb carried out a study of the most expensive and cheapest streets in the 12 largest Belgian cities. The 26 most expensive streets are all in the Brussels-Capital Region. Kasteeltjeslaan, in the municipality of Uccle, is the most expensive street in the country. Property there costs 5,569 euros per square metre.

The Dalstraat in Brussels’s city centre is in second place. Property there costs 5,475 euros per square metre. Korporaaldreef in Uccle, where property costs 5,439 euros per square metre, completes the top three.

The 27th most expensive street in Flanders is Vogelmarkt in Ghent. A buyer has to pay 4,975 euros per square metre for a house there. The most expensive street in Wallonia, Rue Saint-Jean in Namur, is almost half the price at 2,921 euros per square metre. The cheapest urban street in Flanders is the Egelstraat in Hasselt. A property here costs 1,826 euros per square metre.
