Emergency and rescue operations are ongoing at the scene. Volunteers, medical staff, police, and emergency services are involved in clearing the debris. President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that people might still be under the rubble, but the exact number of casualties is currently unknown.

“Emergency work continues directly on the territory of the ‘Okhmatdyt’ children’s hospital. The buildings are being cleared by volunteers, medical staff, police, and emergency workers. Now, National Guard forces are joining the efforts to quickly clear the debris and save any possible survivors,” said Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko during a telethon. The minister added that rescuers have a three-hour “golden time” window to save those who may be trapped under the rubble.
